Do I own the code when it's delivered?+
Yes — completely. On launch day, you receive the full source code, a private repository, and full deployment rights. I don't hold anything hostage and there are no licensing strings attached. If you want to hire another developer next year, you can hand them the whole codebase.
What if I don't like how it looks?+
A working platform is reviewed at the 30-day midpoint. You give detailed feedback, and we refine together for the remaining 30 days — design tweaks, copy changes, feature adjustments. Iteration is built into the schedule, not billed as extra.
What's included after launch?+
30 days of free post-launch support — bug fixes, deployment help, small adjustments, hosting questions. After that, ongoing maintenance is optional and offered as a monthly retainer or hourly basis. No long-term contracts.
What technology stack do you build on?+
Modern, well-supported, industry-standard tech: React, Next.js, Supabase or PostgreSQL, Tailwind CSS, deployed on Vercel or your provider of choice. The point is that any qualified developer can pick the codebase up and continue it — you're never trapped with one person.
Who handles hosting and ongoing costs?+
You do. I set up hosting on your accounts (Vercel, AWS, your choice), and you own the bills directly — no opaque retainers or surprise charges from me. Typical hosting for a community platform runs $20–$200/month depending on scale.
What happens if you miss the 60-day deadline?+
It hasn't happened yet. But if it does, you receive a 10% discount on the final payment for every week I'm late. The 60-day delivery is a written commitment, not a sales pitch.
Can you build to financial / trade regulations?+
Yes — that's what the Trade Regulation add-on is for. Member verification flows, audit trails, role-based access, data retention policies, and the structured logging required for compliance reviews can all be built into the foundation, not bolted on later.
What if I have to cancel midway through?+
The 50% deposit is non-refundable — it secures your slot on my calendar and protects against last-minute drops. Beyond that, you only pay for work completed up to the cancellation date, and you keep every line of code produced. No surprises.
